“Alien Love”
Mothers Favorite Child Continue to Prove They Have Musical Boundaries With Release “Alien Love”
While firmly established as pioneers and pace-setters in the Alternative Soul/Jazz world, Mothers Favorite Child is much more than that. Boundless creativity has been a constant in the project’s development, to the joy of fans. In that spirit, Mothers Favorite Child recently announced a Summer 2023
release date for the latest MFC album. “Alien Love” is a compilation of previously unreleased bonus track instrumentals touching some quite unexpected places. The title track was co-written by Tanya Tiet of Sister Sledge and features Saeeda Wright of Prince. Floetry’s Say Yes is covered and shows just how creative MFC is with this iconic song.
“Ive decided to release Alien Love,” commented the passionate Paris. “The 2019 MFC album was supposes to be a double album but because of the delays releasing a double album out have taken on vinyl pressing I chose to just release the vocal tracks and shelf the bonus cuts. Then covid happened and the bonus tracks were never released until now”.
The interest in MFC unreleased sessions has always been high as it is rumored that Paris has over 1000 songs sitting in his vault. “Alien Love” will clearly add to those desires. As amazing as it is, it still leaves music lovers wanting more from Paris and his multi-faceted collaborators.
